50's Diner

This Friday night is our 50's Diner night to help raise money for those who are considering going on the missions trip to Wales next Summer! Everyone will be decked out in their 50's gear and the youth will be serving all the food. The Diner will open at 6 and close at 8pm. We will need youth workers at the church at least by 5:15 Friday night. There will be a quick meeting about Friday night's fundraiser for those planning to help out tomorrow after youth service.

Doubts

We are starting a brand new series at The Anchor tomorrow night called Doubts! We all face obstacles in our belief in God. The question is "What will we do with them?"

Throughout this series we will be looking at different doubts that are common when it comes to believing in Christianity. We will be announcing the topic a week ahead of time so that you can invite friends who may have that specific doubt. Pray with us that this series will help some overcome their doubts and that it will help all of us grow closer to Jesus.

Want to have a chance to win $200 and give to The Anchor's Speed The Light goal for 2015? All you need to do is fill out a bracket for the upcoming NCAA Men's Basketball tournament and submit it to the office at the church or email it to TheAnchorYouth@gmail.com on or before March 18th. The entry fee is $10 for you first bracket and then $5 for any additional bracket. You can fill out as many brackets as you want. The more brackets you submit the better chance you have of winning the $200 prize. Anyone can enter to win! Just print off a bracket (link below) and drop it by the church or email it anytime on or before Wednesday night!

All the money that is raised will go towards The Anchor Youth's Speed The Light goal to assist missionaries in reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus!

Saturate 2015

Saturate 2015 is only a few weeks away! If you are planning on going with us to Garden City March 19-22 your $70 is due this Wednesday. If you can't get your money in by this Wednesday you can still go but the price goes up to $85.

Lock In 2015

It's that time of year! The Anchor's annual Lock In is coming up February 6-7! We have an epic night planned for you! We are heading to Wichita Ice Sports to play Broomball and then we will be going to Laser Quest and, finally, we will be finishing the night at Haysville Middle School with glow in the dark dodgeball tournament, capture the flag, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, volleyball, Hannity, and more!

Invite your friends because the more the merrier!

10 Commandments

Don't miss the new series, 10 Commandments, starting at The Anchor tomorrow night!

Christians today are very similar to the Israelites in Moses' day.  Just like God set the Israelites free from Pharaoh in Egypt; God has saved us from slavery to sin, but we stay slaves to sin even though  we've been set free. We don't live like we are free. The 10 Commandments were given to the Israelites as rules just like a loving father would give to his kids to help them avoid suffering and pain.

Join us at The Anchor every Wednesday night for the next ten weeks as we look at each of the 10 Commandments and try to find true freedom in this life! Invite your friends and we'll see you tomorrow night @ 7pm!

Lead From The Locker
